A new River Wensum Strategy is being developed to raise the profile of this important river through Norwich.

Norwich City Council is working in partnership with the Broads Authority, Norfolk County Council, the Norwich Society, the Environment Agency and the Wensum River Parkway Partnership to develop the new strategy, which is intended to highlight the role the river plays in the life of the city and improve how it is managed and how it can be enhanced for the benefit of people, nature and the economy.

A public consultation event will be held at Blackfriars Hall in Norwich on 24 June from 1pm – 7pm. More information will be posted here shortly but the Eastern Daily Press has published this article with further information.
