A new series of debates – WILD WORDS
We’re pleased to announce a new group is coming together made up of individuals who work for nature through their profession, their leisure, their art or their science.
Wild Words is a space for inspiration and debate where informed speakers will introduce some of the key environmental topics of the day for the group to debate. We will be sharing ideas that bring people together from a wide variety of environmental perspectives to debate key issues as individuals. People do not bring their work hats with them and all discussions are held in an informal and open manner.
Wild Words will meet four times a year in the centre of Norwich. There will be a time to mingle from 17.30 with speakers beginning at 18.00 and talking for around twenty minutes. Debate across the group will then last until 19.00 with the possibility for continuation over a drink for those who wish.
The opening gathering will be on Tuesday 29th September 2015 at Dragon Hall, 115-123 King’s Street, Norwich, NR1 1QE (check it on the map).
There will be two speakers for our opening event, Mark Cocker and Richard Mabey, both are nature writers and naturalists who are coming together to open our first debate.
Please contact us if you would like to know more or find out how to attend the debate.
