Looking Forward to Pollinator Awareness Week

July 10, 2015 Off By Stuart Rickards

Polinator Awareness Week

Next week is Pollinator Awareness Week.

Pollinators are vital to our societies. Honeybees, bumblebees, solitary bees, hoverflies, beetles, butterflies and moths all provide pollination services for us and usually at no financial cost to us.

Next week we will be making the case for our pollinators and the natural environment that supports them.

We will also provide details of funding that Defra are making available to LNPs for projects that deliver actions in the National Pollinator Strategy. We are keen to work with people and organisations to reduce the risks facing pollinators and improve their resilience in a changing environment. Contact us if you are interested and would like to know more.
