Wild Anglia is excited to share the Norwich and Norfolk Eco Awards with you all! This is a great opportunity for the people of Norfolk to show off and be proud about their environmental excellence.
The aim of these awards is to celebrate and recognise the projects and schemes with strong ecological and environmentally-friendly ethos or groups and organisations which can show they adopt a sound eco-approach to all their operations.
It’s free and easy to enter, just follow the application process here. You have until Tuesday 14th February to enter so don’t delay! Winners will receive a trophy and certificate as well as Eco Awards branding to use for marketing purposes.
The categories:
- outstanding eco primary school (prize of tablet devices sponsored by Updata)
- outstanding eco secondary school
- outstanding eco community group
- outstanding eco small/medium business (less than 50 staff)
- outstanding eco food producer
- outstanding eco home
All entries will be put forward for the special eco hero title, which recognises the hard work of an exceptional individual or group.
And for this year primary schools now also the chance to win brand new tablet devices sponsored by Updata, the county’s preferred ICT provider who has delivered improved infrastructure to support education in the county.
Wild Anglia will be sponsoring the food and drink for the event taking place on Thursday 16th March and look out for our chair Richard Powell presenting at the awards! We look forward to celebrating with all – best of luck!
